Qantas offers complimentary meals to all passengers on domestic and international flights.

Here’s what you can expect from the inflight dining service.

International Flights

On international routes, Qantas provides a restaurant-style dining concept. After takeoff, passengers are welcomed with a signature drink, followed by a meal service.

Instead of the traditional meal tray, Qantas serves meals on larger, simplified trays, with up to three main meal choices.

Main dishes like slow-cooked beef stew, chicken with rice and vegetables, or hearty vegetarian pasta.

Sweet treats such as Tim Tams or Paddle Pop ice creams.

Complimentary wines, spirits, and beers to pair with your meal.

Domestic Flights

Qantas recently updated its domestic menu, the meal service varies by time of day and flight length.

Breakfast (5 am–8:59 am): Choose from options like yoghurt, banana macadamia bread, and sliced apples.

Morning Tea (9 am–11:59 am): Light snacks such as spinach, ricotta wrap, or zucchini fritters.

Lunch (12 pm–1:29 pm): Meals like bolognese calzones, roast chicken sandwiches, or Mediterranean croquettes.

Afternoon Tea (1:30 pm–4:59 pm): Choose from savoury items such as cottage cheese, spinach samosas, or light sweet treats like ginger pear cake.

Dinner (5 pm–9:59 pm): Hearty options, including hot dinner boxes or fresh salads.

On flights over 2.5 hours, beer and wine are complimentary after 9 am.

From noon onward, alcoholic beverages are free of charge on all other flights.

Passengers may enjoy additional treats like Weiss ice cream bars on coast to coast services.
