Qantas meals are complimentary to all customers travelling on a Qantas operated service.

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS

Qantas offers a more restaurant-style meal service on international flights.

After take-off, passengers will be served a signature welcome drink and restaurant-style dining service will follow.

The traditional inflight meal tray has been removed to make way for a simpler and larger inflight meal offering.

You’ll have a choice of up to three inflight meal choices served with butter infused bread, a dessert and drink of your choice.

DOMESTIC FLIGHTS

Complimentary inflight dining and refreshments are offered, depending on the time of day you travel and the duration of the flight.

Lunch options will include pies, pastries or sandwiches, while dinner services will consist of a hot dinner box option or salad.

Qantas has unveiled a new menu for its domestic economy flights, with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and locally-inspired dishes.

Depending on your flight time you could be served one of the following options:

  • Breakfast packs: Including yoghurt, banana, honey, macadamia bread, and sliced apples.
  • Ham and egg hollandaise ciabatta: This sandwich is made with ham, egg, hollandaise sauce, and ciabatta bread.
  • Spinach and ricotta wrap: This wrap is made with spinach, ricotta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and balsamic vinaigrette.
  • Roast chicken and chive on light rye sandwich: This sandwich is made with roast chicken, chives, and light rye bread.
  • Zucchini and corn fritters: These fritters are made with zucchini, corn, and feta cheese.
  • Bolognese calzone: This calzone is filled with bolognese sauce, mozzarella cheese, and herbs.
  • Chicken and potato mediterranean croquettes: These croquettes are made with chicken, potato, and vegetables.
  • Zucchini and caramelised onion frittata: This frittata is made with zucchini, caramelised onions, and feta cheese.
  • Gluten free and plant based chocolate caramel slice: This slice is made with gluten free oats, cocoa, and coconut.
  • Pear and ginger cake: This cake is made with pears, ginger, and spices.

Wine and beer are free on all flights departing 12pm daily and on flights departing from 9am that are 2.5 hours or longer.

Yes, Qantas offers a selection of alcoholic drinks, including beer and wine, and spirits.

On domestic flights beer and wine are free after 9am on flights over 2.5 hours, and other flights after 12pm.

On international flights spirits are included.

Does Qantas offer vegan meal options?

Yes, Qantas offers the VGML special meal which is suitable for vegans. These need to be pre-ordered at least 24 hours before departure to ensure availability.
