Who we are
Inflight Feed is an independent publication covering airline food, drink, amenities, and onboard products. Founded in 2012, it is edited by Nik Loukas, who has written inflight reviews and industry news for more than a decade and whose work has appeared in CNN Travel and industry magazines.
Nik also benchmarks airline service and consults for the inflight industry (see “Consulting and commercial relationships” below). Inflight Feed has covered industry events including WTCE and IFSA, and has run The Inflight Lab workshops for airline professionals since 2018.
What we cover
We report on airline menus, catering partnerships, chef collaborations, amenity kits, and onboard service changes. We also publish airline meal reviews and guides to special meals and onboard dining.
How we source our stories
News stories are based on announcements and information from airlines, caterers, suppliers, and industry events, including official press materials.
Where we can, we add our own context, such as comparisons with earlier menus or details from the airline or supplier.
Airlines and suppliers may see a story before publication only so we can check facts. They do not approve or edit our wording.
We credit images to their source where known.
How we review
Our reviews are written by Nik Loukas from flights he has taken and paid for, unless otherwise disclosed in the article.
Independence
Airlines and suppliers do not pay for or approve our news coverage. Editorial decisions about what to cover and how to describe it are made by our editorial team.
Inflight Feed pays for its own travel. We accept no more than two complimentary flights from airlines in any calendar year.
Whenever we accept complimentary or hosted travel, we disclose it in the relevant article.
Consulting and commercial relationships
Inflight Feed’s editor also consults for the inflight industry and benchmarks airline service. This work is separate from our editorial coverage. Where we have a commercial relationship with a company featured in a story, we disclose it in that story.
Sponsored and partner content
Content labeled “Sponsored” or “Partner Content” is paid for by the company featured. It is kept separate from our editorial coverage and clearly labeled, and it does not influence our news stories or reviews.

The Inflight Lab
The Inflight Lab is a series of free workshops for airline and inflight professionals, run by Inflight Feed since 2018. Events are supported by industry partners, who are named on the event pages. Event coverage is written by our editorial team.

Inflight Feed is supported by advertising, placed through our advertising partner Raptive, and by affiliate income. Ads do not represent an endorsement.
Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools to assist with research, transcription, and editing. All published content is written by a human editor.
Corrections
We aim to be accurate. If you spot an error, email corrections @inflightfeed.com. When we correct a story, we update the article and add a note at the bottom stating what was changed and when.
