Delta is relaunching its Delta One wine programme with 13 wines from 11 winery partners, available onboard from 1 October 2026.
Champagne Taittinger, currently served on international Delta One routes, will also be offered on domestic Delta One from the same date.
The programme was developed with Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson, selected from 1,600 wines evaluated.
For the first time, SkyMiles Members took part in blind tastings during the selection process.
The Napa Valley lineup includes Silver Oak, Trefethen Family Vineyards, St. Supéry, Crossbarn by Paul Hobbs, Freemark Abbey, and Patz & Hall.
Each will rotate through Delta One in six-month windows between October 2026 and September 2027.
Andrea Robinson said: “Napa represents everything we love about wine as a travel and hospitality experience. The quality of labels produced in region is extraordinary, but what truly stands out are the people and the farming that pour into each.”
Every wine was evaluated for how it performs at altitude, where lower humidity and cabin pressure affect flavour perception.
Flight attendants trained through Delta’s Sky Sommelier programme will be available onboard for questions.
