Starting in October, KLM will introduce Grand Café KLM on European flights, offering economy class passengers pre-order and onboard menu options, as well as an expanded complimentary selection.

Passengers may pre-order meals such as a poke bowl or Caesar salad before departure, or purchase items like a salmon egg wrap or yogurt with fruit and seeds during the flight.

KLM’s complimentary offering remains available and includes coffee, tea, water, orange juice, and a stroopwafel.

The launch follows KLM’s earlier announcement that it was exploring a new catering model for Economy Class, which has been tested across multiple destinations and testing phases evaluating both the product assortment and supporting operational processes.
