Review: Batik Air Business Class

batik air inflight meal review- Check out the inflight meal review of Batik Air between Jakarta and Singapore in business class, Inflight Feed

As part of a trip to Bali with Air France in premium economy, I decided to fly to Singapore from Jakarta with Batik Air. The airline has been operating since 2013 and is part of the Lion Air Group; their central hub is in Jakarta. They offer business and economy class, and they’re a full-service airline offering free drinks and snacks to everyone on board, I booked a business class ticket on this lunchtime service flight of 1.5 hrs.

ON THE GROUND

Before departure, the cabin crew offered drinks, a refresher towel and a packet of cashews; I selected their signature lime drink.

INFLIGHT SERVICE

The service onboard was good and the crew were friendly enough. For lunch, I sampled the crumbed chicken served with rice and oyster sauce. It was ok and was served luke-warm,  there wasn’t much thought put into the fruit component of the meal and there was a ready-made dessert on offer. It just looked as though the airline plated up an economy class meal on porcelain, and although it was a pleasant experience inflight, the meal was mediocre at best.
