KLM

I flew with KLM multiple times this year, sampling their offerings in both Business and Economy Classes.

From Michelin-inspired breakfasts to hearty sandwich boxes, KLM continues to impress with its inflight dining options across Europe and beyond.

Breakfast

KLM’s Business Class breakfasts, inspired by Michelin 2-star chefs Onno Kokmeijer and Arjan Speelman, deliver a premium experience.

On a morning flight from Copenhagen to Amsterdam, I enjoyed a simple but enjoyable spread of fresh fruit, curd cheese, and smoked salmon with cucumber cream cheese.

Flying from Amsterdam to Lisbon, a 2-hour 40-minute journey, I was treated to a hot breakfast featuring a leek frittata paired with potatoes and tomato chutney.

A cold platter of fenugreek cheese and chicken breast served as an excellent starter, making this meal both substantial and memorable.

Lunch & Dinner

On a flight from Lisbon to Amsterdam, I received a colourful appetiser and a chicken thigh in jus, paired with pearl barley risotto, green beans, and pan-fried mushrooms.

Dessert was a lovely orange mousse and chocolate ganache.

During a flight between Singapore and Bali, I was served a delicious chicken satay with rice, a fresh side salad and a passion fruit tart for dessert.

Economy Class

In Economy Class, KLM provides free mealsโ€”rare among European airlines. On short-haul flights, passengers are offered sandwich boxes, while longer flights include hot snacks.

Conclusion

Overall, KLM delivers a consistent and enjoyable dining experience in both Business and Economy Classes.

With Michelin-inspired creations in Business and complimentary meals in Economy, the airline sets itself apart by prioritising quality and passenger satisfaction.
