STARLUX is introducing new Japanese dishes to its inflight menus on flights departing Osaka Kansai (KIX) and Fukuoka (FUK).
Premium Economy and Economy passengers on flights departing Osaka Kansai will receive Chibo Okonomiyaki, developed with Osaka restaurant Chibo, which has more than 50 years of history.
Business Class passengers on flights departing Fukuoka will receive Temari Sushi, six varieties of hand-ball sushi originating in Kyoto.
Temari Sushi is available for online pre-order between 21 days and 24 hours before departure.
Chibo has a prior history of inflight partnerships in Japan: Peach Aviation announced a Chibo okonomiyaki collaboration for its inflight menu on August 30, 2013.
