Lufthansa runs two very different service models. European flights use a paid system called Onboard Delights, chocolate and water are complimentary, everything else is bought on board or pre-ordered.

International long-haul flights include a full complimentary meal service in every cabin.

Business Class was overhauled in 2026 under Lufthansa’s new FOX programme, bringing Johann Lafer-designed menus and a flexible second meal service.
