For Economy Class passengers on continental flights, Lufthansa provides the convenience of pre-ordering from a specially curated selection of meals.
This service is available on flights that are an hour or longer and allows you to personalise your in-flight dining experience up to 36 hours before departure.
While these meals are not complimentary, the option to customise and pre-order your meal ensures that your preferences are catered to, with the ease of payment for these items being taken care of during the flight.
Should you opt not to pre-order, Lufthansa still offers a variety of items available for purchase while on board.
How to order

Access the service at Lufthansa Pre-Flight Shopping.
Input your Booking Code, First Name, and Surname, and then tap ‘Continue’.

Choose Your Flight
Select the flight for which you want to pre-order your meal.

Browse through the selection of fresh food options and choose your favorite item.

Add to Cart and Checkout
Add your selection to the shopping cart and proceed to checkout.
Confirm your order by entering your email address and submitting it.

At the Checkout, ensure your order is correct, enter your email address twice, and press submit order.
You can also edit the quantity and remove items if needed.
Once completed, a confirmation page will appear to confirm your successful order.
First and Business Class
Follow the same process for your meal pre-order. Passengers in First and Business Class can pre-select one main hot meal for the first service.
This meal is included in the ticket price and guarantees your choice will be available inflight.
Orders can be placed up to 36 hours before the scheduled departure.
