On my recent 72-hour around-the-world journey with Air Canada, JAL, and Austrian Airlines afforded me the opportunity to experience their business class for the first time.
Jetting from Bangkok to Vienna, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the exceptional level of service provided by EVA.
As soon as you step on board, you can tell this is going to be a lovely flight.
The crew exudes warmth and hospitality, and the service is impeccably refined.
INFLIGHT AMENITIES
With pre-take-off champagne and designer pajamas, every detail was meticulously curated to ensure a luxurious journey.
First up: a Salvatore Ferragamo amenity kit and designer pyjamas by Jason Wu.

INFLIGHT SERVICE
The first service commences with an amuse-bouche featuring smoked salmon and a cream cheese/pistachio tart.
The cabin crew then set my tray table with a cloth, condiments, glassware, and cutlery.
The airline utilises Luzerne tableware in their business class cabins.
Luzerne, a Singaporean company with over 800 trained artisans, ensures the craftsmanship of each piece, impressing with its association with renowned names like Daniel Boulud and Hakkasan.
First up, a carrot and coriander soup with vibrant flavors.
As the main course arrives, I’m presented with a prawn and smoked duck skewer garden salad.
The crisp vegetables and fresh greens perfectly complement the succulent prawns and smoky duck.
Though the portion may be smaller than anticipated, the exquisite plating is so visually appealing that any concern about quantity fades away,
To conclude the meal, a delightful selection of fresh fruits is served, providing a refreshing and healthy option.
I sleep for about six hours and wake up feeling refreshed and ready for breakfast.
To begin a carrot and fruit juice is offered and a refresher towel.
The Congee with an egg cake, steamed greens, and traditional side condiments are the perfect way to end the flight.
CONCLUSION
All in all, EVA’s business class is a luxurious and unforgettable experience that you won’t soon forget.
The service is polished, the food is delicious, and the cabin crew goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort throughout the flight.
As I disembarked in Vienna, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to experience this product.
